Neighbourhood PDF Print E-mail

The neighborhood of High Park is justly named for the city jewel of ‘High Park’ itself which is the largest ‘downtown’ city park in Toronto, akin to Central Park in New York and Hyde Park in London. The High Park Executive is located within a block of the park and the ‘High Park’ subway station is on the same block as the building.

The proximity of the subway gives easy access to all the tourist and cultural locations in the city and Yorkville, the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto are right on the subway within 15 minutes of this location.

The downtown business and theatre districts are accessible either by subway, which is located on the same block, within 25 minutes, or can be reached by car in 20 minutes or less.

The neighborhood is both trendy and family-oriented. Being close to the largest park in the downtown city area it’s popular with runners, and others interested in outdoor activities.

Bloor West Village with its upscale restaurants and shopping is within seven minutes walk. The village also contains an excellent and architecturally quaint library, a large ‘Chapters’ bookstore - housed in an pretty and historical theatre building, large supermarket, drug stores, health food, Wine and other gourmet and specialty stores.
